200+ participants took to the ice at the Magna Centre on February 4th to play hockey, have fun and raise funds to support cancer patients. There were 8 men’s teams and 4 women’s teams, including one ladies team from Scotland. It was such an honour to have them a part of our day and the Scotland jersey they donated, will be hung at each DALY CUP from here on in.
Over $2,500 was raised at this event and will assist our patients with gas cards, grocery cards and some other personal items that are needed. A generous amount of funds raised at a first annual event….thank you to everyone! Here’s to the 2nd Annual DALY CUP in 2013!

Our silent auction table consisted of incredible items such as Leaf Tickets, a Personal Gary Roberts autographed jersey, hockey bags, Barberian’s dinner certificate and much more. Thank you to our generous and kind donors….especially Leslie Lastoria and her family.
Over 12 volunteers assisted at this event and these events would never happen without their support. They worked over 10 hours at this event and numerous participants commented on their professionalism and dedication. THANK YOU FROM ALL OF US!
We were also fortunate enough to have the Referees and time keepers donate their wages back to GetRecD. This is a value of over $1000 donated. Truly thankful for your support and dedication.
