1st ANNUAL DODGEBALL TOURNAMENT

"GRAB LIFE BY THE BALL"

Thank you to all players, volunteers, spectators and referrees, for making the 1st Annual GetRecD Dodgeball tournament a huge success! We had 8 teams register and over 75 players participate, not to mention all the spectators from the Town of Markham that enjoyed watching the excitement!

All players had team uniforms and 2 of the teams.....well.....they took it to heart!

With all the enthusiasm, team spirit, good friends, strong family and lots of laughs...we raised $1500.00 on our first dodgeball tournament. These proceeds will go to Southlake Hospital and support their fundraising efforts to build a cancer care facility that will serve York Region cancer patients and their families.

At the team banquet, hosted at Brodie's Restaurant, it was stated that GetRecD Dodgeball will now be an annual event under the GetRecD Event series, so get your teams and uniforms ready for 2010!
