1st ANNUAL DODGEBALL TOURNAMENT

"GRAB LIFE BY THE BALL"

Registration for the March 2009 Dodgeball Tournament is now open. This tournament is part of the GetRecD for Ryan Daly series and all proceeds raised, from this event, will go to support cancer care at the Southlake Hospital in Newmarket, Ontario.

The new cancer centre at Southlake, is being developed in partnership with Princess Margaret Hospital, one of the top 5 cancer hospitals in the world. This means easier access to the most advanced treatments and latest discoveries for York Region cancer patients and their families.

Please get your family and friends together for a fun day of activity while raising money for a great cause.

DETAILS:

DATE: Saturday March 7th, 2009
PLACE: Angus Glen Community Centre (Major Mackenzie & Warden Ave)
TIME: Games played from 10am - 4pm and banquet to start at 6pm at Jakes on Main, in Unionville.
PRICE: $60 per person which includes, minimum 3 games, awards banquet, prizes, grab bag and a small donation to charity

There will be an award handed to the BEST TEAM UNIFORMS. Dodgeball is all about the way you look!

Registration forms are Below. Registration deadline is Friday February 20, 2009. Once completed please email to Laura at laura@getrecd.org and mail cheques to GetRecD Events, 374 Waratah Ave, Newmarket, ON L3Y 7T6. Your team will not be confirmed until payment is received.

You must be at least 19 years of age to participate.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS
-1st Annual GetRecD Dodgeball Tournament taking place Saturday March 7th, 2009 at the Angus Glen Community Centre. Registration will open in January 2009. Rules will be posted shortly.

2008 GetRecD Golf Tournament
-GetRecD donated $18,000 to Princess Margaret Hospital and also sent one child with cancer to camp, by donating $1600 to Camp Ooch. Visit www.ooch.org for more information about this camp.
