In Loving Memory..

On April 29, 2008, Ryan Daly, the co-founder of the GetRecD tournament, passed away after a courageous 2 year battle with leukemia. Ryan was only 29 years old but in his short life, Ryan left an amazing legacy.

Ryan always had a smile on his face, a funny joke to tell and was always willing to assist others and make sure that others were happy, even when he was having tough days. While Ryan was battling leukemia at Princess Margaret Hospital, he would visit other patients and lift their spirits with a funny story, words of encouragement or just a smile. He truly was a special person and will be missed.

In order to keep Ryan’s spirit alive, GetRecD will now be raising funds to support the “Ryan Daly Foundation”. Proceeds from this foundation will go to leukemia research at The Princess Margaret Hospital, as well as to leukemia patients who need support, during their battle. More information about this new foundation will be available shortly.
